Thomas Lin was honored to have been invited to participate in the conference organized by the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine for the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology’s project, “Introducing Overseas Masters to Promote the Inheritance and Innovative Development of the ZiWuLiuZhu Acupuncture and Herbs with Diagnosis and Treatment Techniques.” in Guangzhou between 16th to 18th December 2023.
This conference is also the 2023 Academic Annual Meeting of the ZiWuLiuZhu Acupuncture and Herbs with Diagnosis Professional Committee of the Guangdong Acupuncture Society.
Thomas Lin presented a report on “The Prevalence and Universality of Mental Disorders in New Zealand.” In the conference, Thomas was grateful for the guidance of Professor Rong Peijing from the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and Professor Gu Yuqi, a renowned psychologist in China. Thomas would also like to express his gratitude to the TCM experts in New Zealand for their assistance and support.
On December 17th, under the leadership of Deputy Chief Physician Chen Yuanbin of the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, it was announced that the project to introduce Thomas Lin to be the “Overseas Masters” at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine) over the past two years has been successfully approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
During his participation in the conference at the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Thomas Lin received a warm reception from Professor Zhang Zhongde, the President of the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, Professor Yang Rongyuan, Vice President, and Professor Guo Jianwen, Vice President.
最近基督城中医治疗中心的林金洪医师很荣幸被邀请参加了由广东省中医院举办的广东省科技厅“引进海外名师推动子午流注针药诊疗技术的传承与创新发展”项目研讨会暨广东省针灸学会子午流注针药专业委员会2023年学术年会。
林金洪医师在会议上报告了“论情志病在新西兰的多发与普遍性”。林医生感恩他的报告得到了中国中医科学院荣培晶教授和中国著名心理学家顾瑜琦教授的指导， 也感谢新西兰的中医专家们也提供了协助和支持。
12月17日，在广东省中医院陈远彬副主任医师主持下宣布经广东省科技厅批准的在广州中医药大学附属第二医院 (广东省中医院) 过去两年以来引进“海外名师”项目顺利进行。
林金洪医师在广东省中医院参会期间特别受到了广东省中医院院长张忠德教授，副院长杨荣源教授和副院长郭建文教授的热情接见。
